Register as an unemployed job seeker on your first day without work to qualify for unemployment benefits from the registration date. You can also register as a job seeker before your unemployment or layoff begins if you know the start date in advance.
Follow the instructions on the JobMarket website to register through the E-Services.
Fill in your details carefully and ensure that your work and education information, as well as contact details, are correct. Describe your situation as thoroughly as possible, including information on any terminated employment, studies, or self-employment. Detailed information allows for faster processing of your case.
E-Services
All job-seeking processes are managed via E-Services on the Job Market website. In E-Services, you can handle almost everything related to your job search, such as:
- Send a message or contact request to your personal advisor
- Mark tasks as completed within the given time
- Respond to a request for additional information
- Report a change in status or end your job-seeking registration
